Space Mechanic Simulator Developer Insights #72

Hello Space Mechanics!

Welcome to the next Space Mechanic Simulator Developer Insights from the last weeks are here! Work on playtesting continues with each week we are getting closer to the end.

In the last post, we introduced to you the IR Scanner, and today the smart meter. Handheld electric meter.
It is a simple, but versatile device allowing one to measure electric signals and diagnose issues with digital data streams.

It has 4 operating modes. If you want to measure alternating or direct currents, you will use AC/DC modes. To determine the exact frequency of a signal you can use the Hz mode. For more advanced uses, OSC mode, or Oscilloscope mode, allows monitoring signal quality for potential interferences of analog signals. You will need it to perform electrical repairs. We will cover more tools in future posts.

Furthermore, we’d like to thank everyone once more for supporting us and sharing your feedback on our forums, social networks. Remember that all the videos, screenshots shown above are from a WIP build, they don’t reflect the final version of the game.

Once again, we strongly encourage you to sign up for our upcoming Playtests and help us create the best Space Mechanic Simulator. Sign-ups are still open.
