Hello Truck Mechanics!

Welcome to another developer post, in which we’ll cover some news about Truck Mechanic: Dangerous Paths production.

We managed to make quite a few changes to the game’s maps. More objects have arrived in the Jungle and Plantation. We are trying to add a lot of places, which finding them during exploration will give you a lot of satisfaction and maybe something more – like hidden finds or hidden achievements. We meticulously add small objects with which we want to increase realism and better reflect the places in which they appear.

In the past month, we have made some updates to the save system, which has undergone a major overhaul in the code and various improvements have appeared. Due to the huge number of mechanics available in our game, the task was difficult and complicated. It’s really a HUGE and complicated system, which took a lot of time to work out properly. Now the system is faster, works better and has been made bug-free. During the prologue, you reported that this was the feature you missed the most. Being able to save the game correctly will avoid your frustrations and guarantee a quick and pleasant return to where you left off in the previous session.
