Space Mechanic Simulator Developer Insights #85

Hello Space Mechanics!

Welcome to the next Space Mechanic Simulator Developer Insights. Today we will touch on the topic of blueprints.

Why do I need blueprints?

Diagrams are now essential – you may get a mission where they tell you a pump stopped working, and you will have to figure out why. Maybe it’s the electric motor in the pump that failed. Maybe it’s the PLC controller that has the wrong program or is damaged. Or maybe a battery has failed and nothing has power? This makes diagnostics an actual part of the game.

Palmtop is fun

Palm has received new features that allow you to check, for example, the installed program. In addition, you will be able to correct erroneous programs and install correct ones to PLCs. This is not the end of the changes. Visually, we’ve also made quite a few improvements and, of course, device animations. They no longer just stand in one fixed position, but gently wobble from side to side.

We appreciate your understanding as we strive to deliver a game that lives up to our own high standards and your expectations. Stay tuned for more updates as we embark on this final phase of development.
